We as women have the ability to create or destroy, nurture or malnourish, build up or tear down. We have emerged from various walks and ways of life and almost no two women are the same. I have been amazed to see the drama, the chaos, the crazy, the trauma and the hell that we go through hasn't snuffed us out.
We have overcome the things meant to destroy us like domestic violence, abusive situations, dysfunctional families, backstabbing friends, death of loved ones, loss of possession, low self esteem, lack of education, disabilities, diseases, health factors, unemployment, street life, trust issues, church hurt, prostitution, addictions of any kind, abandonment and many more.
As a matter of fact I have seen us come out of these things with love, compassion, perseverance, a new determination, the desire to help the next person, empathy, patience, wisdom and a power that keeps us from falling back into those dark places that we know will kills us if we return.
We are created to hold life within us, we are home, resourceful, we are nourishment, we are encouragers, vision fillers, prayer warriors and long sufferers, yet submissive and humble. One of my favorite lines of a song I once heard says that "We are strong enough to bare the children, then get back to business".
We can work all day, pick up the kids, grocery shop, take in the groceries, start dinner, throw a load of clothes in the washing machine, check the mail, correct the homework, set out clothes for the next day, make our man a good cup of sweet tea, see how everyone's day went, feed the dog, turn over the chicken, set the table, serve the food, wash the dishes, mop the floor, put the kids to bed, love our husband into a glorified coma with a smile on his face all before we even blink. We are WOMEN!!!!!
